RuralTech specialises in providing on-site and remote IT consultancy to rural homes, businesses, farms, estate offices, milking parlours, Anaerobic Digester (AD) Plants, Ground Source Heat pumps, solar farms and holiday cottages in the UK.

We work in partnership with you, advising you on how to improve the structure and efficiency of your IT systems, making sure your networks are robust and secure and that at all times you are complying with industry regulations.

In addition, we offer PC, laptop and smart TV support, we can advise on options for broadband including FTTC broadband (also referred to as VDSL), fibre broadband (delivered by fibre optic cable FTTP), mobile broadband (that runs on the 4G & 5G mobile phone data network), microwave broadband (a fixed wireless broadband connection delivered by high capacity microwave radio link) and satellite broadband (that is beamed from space to a satellite dish installed on your property) and better Wi-Fi connectivity, plus advise on solutions for guest Wi-Fi, data backup and cyber securityPlease note, we do not carry out broadband installations. This would be undertaken by your Internet Service Provider.

A good internet speed is anywhere between 50 and 100 Mbps.  Speeds of 50 to 100 Mbps allow a few people to stream in HD or even 4K, stream music, game, browse social media and work from home.
